I am currently a premed sophomore studying biochemistry at Stony Brook. My research at the Davalos lab focuses on an MHC (M10.7) involved in the vomeronasal system, a system whose presence varies greatly in bats. My hopes are to find a correlation between a mutation in M10.7 and a lack of the vomeronasal organ; and its phylogenetic implications.
